Congregation Beth Elohim seeks to foster three central aspects of Jewish life: Torah, Worship, and Acts of Loving Kindness.

Becoming a member of Beth Elohim not only links you to our diverse programs and services but offers you many opportunities to do acts of kindness, justice, and mercy to make our congregation, our neighborhood, our city, our state, our nation, and our world a better place.

Salute to Longtime Members
dome.jpgIn tribute to members of our congregation who have graced us with their leadership and fellowship for more than a quarter-century, please joing us  on Friday, May 30 at 6:30pm for a special Dinner in the Ballroom (Adults $25 per person, Children $15) followed by Erev Shabbat Services in the Sanctuary and an Oneg Shabbat..

Promote LGBT Equality: Pride Planning Committee
pride solo shot.jpgBrooklyn's annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgeder Pride celebration will take place on Saturday, June 14 in Park Slope.  Last year, Beth Elohim participated in this event for the first time with Torah study sessions on homosexuality in Judaism, an inspiring d'var Torah by Rabbi Bachman, a blessing for LGBT members and their families, a booth at the street fair, and a contingent in the Pride March.
