PLEASE NOTE: On Shabbat, November 28, December 2 and January 2, Torah Study will meet from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM.
Also, Rabbi Bachman’s Maimonides class will not be meeting on the weekends of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.

Shabbat Musika is a service of music and song with piano, bass, guitar, mandolin and percussion. Our joyful and stirring service, accompanied by our professional acoustic band, is held every 2nd Friday of the month.
Friday Evenings at
7:00pm except the last Friday of the Month
Welcome Shabbat with song, Hebrew and English readings and a d'var Torah by Rabbi Bachman. After services, an Oneg is held in the Temple House lobby.
On the last Friday of the month, services begin at 8:15pm.
Shabbat
9:15am-9:30am: Bagels and Brachot (blessings) in Rotunda, come meet other members
9:30am: Lay Led Torah Study, Library
9:30am: Shir L’Shabbat, Ballroom. A musical Shabbat experience with Early Childhood Center (ECC) music teacher, Debbie Brukman for tots ages 0-3 and their parents; extended family and grandparents are also welcome. Shir L’Shabbat is followed by playtime on our gym equipment.
9:30am: Gan Shabbat, Rotunda. A learners service with guitars and fun for children ages 4-7 and their parents; extended family and grandparents are also welcome. This service often joins the family services for Torah reading.
9:30am: Yachad Family Service, Sanctuary or Ballroom. An all-inclusive family service with a focus on learning and sharing for ages 7-adult. We use the siddur (prayer book) Mishkan T’filah and celebrate simchas such as B’nai Mitzvah and Baby Namings. This service includes guitar and song leader accompaniment.
10:30am: Lay Led Minyan, Chapel. This intimate Shabbat morning service is led by participants using the siddur Mishkan T’filah.
10:15am: Scheduled B’nai Mitzvah. This is an open service led by Rabbi Bachman and Cantor Leuchter with Torah and Haftorah reading by the Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
10:00am: Altshul, Rabbi’s Study. Altshul meets on the second and fourth Shabbat mornings of every month. Altshul is an independent, egalitarian minyan that is guided by halacha (Jewish law) and follows the traditional liturgy. Kiddush follows each service.
11:00am: Adult and parent education classes as well as children’s classes (Classes will be detailed on www.congregationbethelohim.org).
12:45pm: Jr. Choir Rehearsal
1:00-5:00pm: Pool opens for members
