Delivers nutritious, hot meals to homebound people with AIDS and other serious illnesses. Headquarters and kitchen are located in Manhattan, but drivers are needed to deliver in all boroughs.

Matches young people from underserved communities in all five boroughs with adult volunteers. Mentors and mentees email one another regularly, meet in-person a few times each semester at iMentor-sponsored events, and collaborate on-line on projects designed to improve students' reading, writing, research, and technology skills.
Needs: Volunteer mentors to email with high school and junior high school students
Commitment: Two to three times weekly to exchange email Minimum Age: 21

Provides supplemental reading opportunities for public elementary school students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, to help strengthen their literacy skills.
Needs: Volunteers to read with kids on Friday mornings from 7:40 to 8:20 am
