Grades 1-6 participate in Limmud (Learning), a program of Jewish Studies and Hebrew instruction taught by grade and centered on our core curriculum.  Our Hebrew program focuses on mastery of phonetic Hebrew decoding, comfort with Jewish prayer and basic Jewish texts, and exposure to whole-language Modern Hebrew.  Third-sixth grade students choose a Limmud option on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-6:00 PM.  First- and second-grade students choose a Limmud option on Thursday afternoon from 3:45 PM-6:15 PM, or Shabbat (Saturday) morning from 9:15 AM-12:15 PM.
