Born and raised in Israel, Yehudit moved to New York to pursue
painting, where she received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts
and continues to work and show her art. Having taught in Israeli high
schools and summer camps, and having served as an Educational
Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, Yehudit merged her love of
teaching and her mastery as an artist, teaching at a Jewish arts camp
called BIMA: The Berkshire Institute for Music and Art at Williams
College, at Gan Shalom, and at various Jewish arts programs in
Manhattan.
Yehudit joined the CBE teaching staff in 2002, and has taught 6th
grade and academy, led our "Rosh Hodesh- It's a Girl thing" groups, and most recently served as our Head
Teacher. This year she takes a serious role in our YACHAD programming as our Lead Teacher. She is currently
writing her thesis on destructive aggression in adolescents.
