And when you give blood directly to your hospital-based blood bank, you are not only helping your neighbor, you are also helping your neighborhood hospital to save more lives. You are, indeed, making a direct deposit of life.

If you're between the ages of 17-75, weigh at least 110 lbs and are in good health, please join the CBE community in this mitzvah. Personnel from New York Methodist Hospital will be waiting for you on Thursday, June 19 between 5-8pm in the Rotunda space at 271 Garfield Place (the Sanctuary building). Please use  the Garfield Place entrance.
