2008 marks a critical time in our nation's
history as America again chooses a President. With numerous issues facing
the nation domestically and internationally, this
year promises to be an important and historical moment in time. To understand
the critical issues of the day, CBE is proud to host some of the leading writers and thinkers
today as they share with our community their thoughts on Election 2008
and the road ahead for America and the rest of the world.
First in this series of talks will be a discussion of foreign policy with New Yorker writer
Laura Secor who will discuss terror, the war in Iraq and
foreign policy in the 21st century.
