"These are the obligations without measure, whose rewards, too, are without measure
To perform acts of loving kindness,
To welcome the stranger,
To visit the sick,
To rejoice with the bride and groom,
To console the bereaved,
To make peace where there is strife."

Inspired by this prayer, Congregation Beth Elohim's Chesed Group is working to create a system to support congregants in need and to nurture connections within our community.
We are compiling a list of services we can offer to one another in our times of need, such as illness, injury, or loss, or times of joy, such as the arrival of a new family member.
With our membership of over 650 families, imagine how many mitzvot we can perform if every member of our community performs just one of these services at some point during the year! Imagine too, how comforting it would be to know that community members are available to help you if you ever find yourself in need of assistance.
Your responses to this survey are not a commitment to perform these services at any specific time. It simply allows a member of the Chesed Group to call you should such a need arise. All responses, as well as all requests for support, will be kept confidential. Please fill out the form as fully as possible. Fields marked with an * are mandatory.
